 Funny, But Left Me with No Solution

I think this Kindle article is amusive and further supports the link amid babies and seriously behaving CEOs. The charts added a nice touch. If you like this humorous comparison, then you will LOVE Tame Your Terrible Office Tyrant: How to Manage Childish Boss Behavior and Thrive in Your Job, also in Kindle format. I agree with “sanunit”: Boardroom Babies seems like an Addendum to that 2009 book – the divergence being that the Office Tyrant book talks humorously in regards to how to manage these childlike CEOs. Tyrant likewise has tons more funny comparative examples amidst toddlers and bosses in each quick-read chapter. Mood swings, forgetfulness, demanding, neediness, stubborn, whiny and self-centered traits, are addressed as they are here, amid the 20 chapter traits. A must-read if you like this concept. Like galore other people, I’ve was struggling with “baby bosses”, and it is stressful. I like laughing in regards to the parody. But I LOVE getting solutions based on real research.

 Cute, but not that amusive or informative

Board room babies is a bit of an insult to readers. It actually sounds like a severe case study of the conduct of CEOs and Senior Managers, but provides little to no analysis on what in truth drives the conduct of the executive class. The book attempts to make humorous comparings of executives and babies, but the anecdotes are so frustratingly real that they make me want to strangle my own boss rather laugh at the author’s words. What I was actually looking for was a case study that shows why we have an under performing, over-privileged class of lame duck leaders and an over performing under-privileged class that serves them only to get berated in performance reviews year after year.

 Clever, but short

A lot like a baby in a boardroom, this was rather clever and funny, but far too short. First Kindle single I bought, but I have free subscriptions that are longer and more engaging.
I will look a little differently at CEOs though, henceforth.
