A Las Vegas enterpreneur discusses universal applicability
of interviewing techniques.
Getting the job, is just like getting a date, getting a sales
appointment, or getting anything that requires an individual to make
a considered – or rash – decision as the case may be – and as
hard as getting that date or appointment may be, it’s even harder to follow-up and optimize.
That is, what happens now when you do get that date or job
appointment? They’re fundamentally the same thing. You’ve got to
follow-through on your primary enticing premise that got you the
date or appointment in the basi place. After all, your ‘target’ has been ‘pre-sold.’ Your occupation is now to keep them sold, and clinch the deal.
Many professional sales people even without apparent effort ‘talk themselves
out of the sale’ in spite of having worked so hard to get that appointment in the primary place.
A lot of success in a date, sales, or occupation consultation is contingent upon more or less the same factors. It is a process. Here are a few pointers that may aid in your next occupation interview.
Do your homework. Gather sufficient selective information when it comes to your chance to follow through and eliminate the stresses of the face-to-face interaction.
Then follow the “B-E-A-N-A-C-E” (“BE AN ACE”)
formula to ace that date or occupation interview!
- B Be prepared.
- E Exhibit interest.
- A Ask questions.
- N Note things.
- A Answer questions thoughtfully.
- C Consider things such as personal appearance, dress, haircut, nails, shoes shined, etc.
- E Expect that you did well, and send a thank you note without delay after the interview.
Although the above are somewhat self-explanatory, we’ll go into
depth on each item in the next article in the series.

Tips By Laurie Here Reading & Writing Reviews I got this book free from Amazon as a free ebook, for my husband, as he is looking for a job. I thought perchance this book could provide a heap of helpful clear or deep perception for him to help him along in his quest to find a job. This book turned out to be okay. Some the the tips were mutual sense and he already knew them, and then some were helpful as well. I say it is always worth it to get as much counsel on things as you can. Any extra tidbit of cognition always helps. He did get a few good pointers, so it was worth downloading onto my Kindle for him.
